What happens when you install an Arizona room?  Well, for one, you are adding to your home’s existing square footage.  That is an important thing to know before you even start.  Another thing to be aware of before you start is two figures: your budget, and the estimate of how much it is going to cost to get it installed.

You always want your budget to be higher than than how much it will cost to install an Arizona room, never equal.  Why? Well, estimates are just that, estimates.  It is a good idea to have a little wiggle room in case the project ends up costing more.  A good figure to shoot for is to have a budget of 20-50% higher than the estimate to work with.

A Sun Room: The Installation Process

The installation process of a sun room is fairly straightforward.  First off, before anything is done, you want to make sure that you don’t need to do any work beforehand, like new flooring, wiring, etc.
You also want to make sure that you’ve gone over all of the installation process and what will and will not be done during installation of your Arizona room. Then, depending on the type of room that you and your installer have agreed on, it is usually a matter of putting up a frame, installing the glass that you’ve selected and then tightening a few things here and there.

During the cooler part of year, your new home addition will be a nice warm place to enjoy the winter.  During the summer, it can be easily cooled by strategically placing fans within the confines of the room.  Once you get all of the details worked out, a sun room or Arizona room is a great home addition.

This concludes part two of our series on Arizona rooms.  Be sure to read part one and part three as well.
