freestanding Alumawood solid patio cover and Retractable Awning

Residential backyard in Mesa, AZ 85203

Customer’s Goals:

Shade area near pool and create space to enjoy sitting outside near pool.  Future plan is to install pavers below freestanding cover.  Wanted electric for outlets on cover and lights on posts, wanted to include 2 fans that would be wired by Royal Covers.

Project Description:

Royal Covers installed an approximately 15′ x 28′ freestanding Alumawood solid patio cover, including electrical outlets and wiring of fans and lights provided by customer.  The Alumawood cover included concrete footers and steel inserts to support the structure.

The customer added pavers, outdoor seating, furniture, and a motorized retractable awning to increase the shade near the pool.  The result is a peaceful outdoor sitting area to relax in the shade and watch kids play in the pool or set up a table and enjoy an outdoor meal.
