Well, I have to say, besides the fact that the Alumawood patio cover looks fantastic, I was also very impressed with Royal Covers overall performance. Coming from a construction background, I can appreciate a well-run company. Ryan, my salesperson was knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The contract was clean and orderly, with pictures and descriptions of the product choices and options. Which, also included a layout of exactly where the patio would be located, with pictures of the actual house and yard. The contract signing and payments are all done through email, which is very convenient. Royal Covers was able to squeeze my job in earlier than expected and finished the installation very quickly. No mess left behind, just a couple of bottles of touch-up paint. It was a pleasure to work with Royal Covers.

During the process of getting shade screens for our main patio I asked Ken, our sales rep if he had any recommendations for Pergolas, he said "Royal Covers and look no further". Ken was right, we had an amazing experience throughout the entire process with Royal Covers. We had an excellent experience with Royal Covers to install and update a barn patio on our property. Not only was the result beautiful and perfect for hosting outdoor BBQs and getting some relief from the heat, but the building process went so smoothly. They were able to work around our flood irrigation schedule, were in and out in two days, completely renovated and update the patio, cleaned and cleared everything as they went, and left the work site so clean it was like they were never there. The auto-retractable awning is super cool. I love the solar powered automation and the phone app features. The installation is solid. I would recommend this to anyone. From sales to install all went well and the cost was well below a similar structure we had installed a few years ago by another company. The install crew made quick work of the install despite some fairly detailed cuts that had to be made. Although the pergola is aluminum, it looks very much like wood and is sturdy. After reading up on reviews for companies installing pergolas, I saw who had the best reviews and took the plunge and called Royal Covers. If I knew how cost effective and professional they were, I would have done this years ago. From the very start, every person involved was top notch. Lee provided a thorough/cost effective estimate that they stuck too (as well as providing some design ideas), and Eddie was the most thorough installer/technician I have seen in a while (almost OCD thorough, which is a good thing). Even their electrician was a perfectionist, and took the extra time to do things right even after I had some better ideas (aka changes) for power routing. They were on time, cleaned up at the end of every day, and cleaned up after the project as if they were never there. I'm calling them again this winter for a trellis over my outside bar. I just had my patio cover built by Royal Covers and am convinced this was one of the best investments in my house. At first I tried to do a wood patio cover and looked for different type of companies and contractors to do the work: It is unbelievable the lack of professionalism and experience that you encounter out there, I just could not trust any other contractor. Royal Covers staff are all very professional and knowledgeable and have great customer service: they had an answer to everyone of my needs. They proceesed the HOA permit for me and got approval in less than a week. They also processed the permit with the city of Gilbert and received almost instant approval. They built a beautiful and elegant patio cover and setup the electric and installed the fan: all the work I needed for a very reasonable price!

Third time Royal Covers has worked for us. Deck and laundry room, sun shades and a redo of the car port and skirting after the hail stormIn October. They show up and professionally do their work, only took 4 hours to do the redo on the cover and skirt. When they are finished the job site is clean and I’ve never had to call them back to finish or correct substandard work!Will use Royal Covers Again, but hopefully not for hail damage!!Mike

Though I was not there during the installation, the guys were very patient with explaining to my wife the proper care, warranty and helpful suggestions pertaining to our pergola. The end result was awesome! And of all the contractors we had give us quotes, Royal Covers is the only one that stated there had to be a structural beam at 16' or it would sag. Ours built was a 22x22. They cleaned up all of their mess and I was very impressed! Highly suggest them if you are in the market for Alumawood!!

What a fantastic experience from the 1st consult to the install! I first met with Peter he measured the area and helped me to choose the best color along with other options. He is very familiar with the product and was able to give me an exact estimate on the spot. It was more affordable than I thought it would be. From there I was advised they were 5 to 6 weeks out as far as when install could be performed. Thankfully they were able to squeeze me in a little sooner which was awesome! Gabe the installer was very upbeat, knowledgeable and polite. He had it finished within the day! (Even with the dog helping) 🙂 I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out! What a difference it made! First let it be known, I am a business owner and contractor in the security industry. So when I have a large contracting job to be completed on my own house? I am extremely picky. I expect the contracted promise to match the finished product. I expect the details to be covered. I expect professionalism. I was lucky enough to meet the gracious CEO at Royal Covers, who arrived with my designer, I interviewed 4 other companies. This company was THE MOST professional. They brought samples, they brought their laptop. They laid out the project and quoted me on the spot. No waiting a week for a quote. First let it be known, I am a business owner and contractor in the security industry. So when I have a large contracting job to be completed on my own house? I am extremely picky. From the get-go this process has been impressively handled. The salesman, Peter, was a pleasure to work with, suggesting ways to keep the cost reasonable by using some of the existing structures. The scheduling and follow-up were timely and worked around our personal timing preferences. The two men who came to the house to install, Daniel and Gabriel, were friendly, punctual, and very accommodating. They did a beautiful job, cleaned up several times each day, and seemed to take a great deal of pride in their work. I could not have been more delighted with the process or the outcome

This company was excellent to work with! I received 2 other bids from other companies and they did not compare. Their fees were higher, they took much longer to respond to me and their systems/technology seemed dated. I really like how Pete was able to draw up a few 3D designs on his laptop and give me exact dimensions and costs on the spot. Didn't feel pressure or rushed at all throughout. Finished product looks excellent!
